Other photographers

I've been inspired by other photographers in the past.  Some because I wish I could take pictures like them; others because I just love their work.  Set out below are some of these from the world famous to fellow hobbyists.

Ansel Adams

Perhaps America's greatest ever landscape photographer.  Lived from 1902-1984 during which time he took many beautiful pictures of the landscape of the USA, particularly of their National Parks.  Much of his work is in black and white, increasing the starkness of the wilderness it depicts.

Simon James is an exciting contemporary photographer.  His website can be found at http://www.simonjames.co.uk

His latest book, inspired by the ends of London's Underground lines, is 'Mind the Gap' cover
